EAA Chapter 1394 is based at Creve Coeur Airport in Maryland Heights, Missouri, and is the home of the St. Louis Escadrille. The St. Louis Escadrille is named after the famous Lafayette Escadrille, which was a squadron of American fighter pilots in France during World War I Also located on the field is the Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum.. Besides helping individual members with their aircraft projects and providing educational resources on aviation, The St. Louis Escadrille hosts a Great War Fly-In on even numbered years, usually in September, at Creve Coeur. We are in the planning stages for this years Great War Fly-In. Mark your calendars for September 14th 2008 .
